Fall is a perfect season for cozy evenings in, watching some of your favorite movies. Here are my top 10 movies I like to watch during this romantic time of the year.
The Time Traveler’s Wife
They met when she was six and he was thirty-six. They got married when she was twenty-three and he was thirty-one. Because Henry suffers from a rare genetic disease – he travels in time; his disappearances are unpredictable, and appearances are comical, painful and tragic at the same time.
The Lake House
Kate Forster decides to move out of the rental house to start everything from scratch. She leaves a letter in the mailbox for the next tenant, explaining to him some of the nuances. The new tenant is Alex Wyler, a lonely architect whose father built this beautiful house. He reads the message and writes back. After a few days of correspondence, Kate and Alex understand that they live two years apart and only a mysterious mailbox serves as their connecting bridge.
The Age of Adeline
Adeline was born in the twentieth century and lives for a hundred years but does not age. Despite her long life, Adaline never managed to find a loved one. However, at last, she meets a man for whose sake she wants to become mortal again and grow old with him.
The story of Eilis Lacey, who hesitantly leaves her native Irish village and goes on a job search to America. As a result, she settles in Brooklyn, slowly heals from nostalgia and begins to enjoy the freedom. Eilis falls in love, but tragic news from her homeland forces her to return to Ireland, where she meets another man and as a result is forced to make a difficult choice.
Barefoot in the Park
Paul and Corey live in a small apartment on the fifth floor in the Greenwich Village area. She believes that they have a nice house, and he, a conservative lawyer, hates this place and especially the slightly nuts neighbor living on a floor above, who has to go through their apartment to get into his own. The life of the newlyweds has comical and touching complications. Paul, for example, refuses his wife’s offer to walk barefoot in Central Park when it’s only 17 degrees outside and it’s raining. But love, of course, wins…
Pride and Prejudice
This couple doesn’t need an introduction. Lizzy and Mr. Darcy are probably the most perfect couple in English Lit. This version is one of my all time favorite Jane Austen’s adaptations.

When Myra’s strict ballet teacher finds out about her cavalier she immediately excludes her from the ballet company, and soon in one of the newspapers lists of the KIA, she sees Roy’s name … Despair, lack of money and unemployment lead Myra to an irretrievable path.
Me Before You
Lou Clarke knows how many steps from the bus stop to her house. She knows that she likes work at the cafe and that, most likely, she does not like her boyfriend Patrick. However, Lou does not know that he is about to lose his job and that in the near future, she will need all the strength to overcome the problems that have fallen on her.
Will Traynor lost his desire to live and he knows exactly what needs to be done to put an end to all this. But he does not know that Lou will soon break into his world by the riot of colors and that they will forever change each other’s lives.
P.S. I Love You
They were destined for each other, two halves of one whole, which, having lived a soul in the soul of a long happy life. But fate disposes differently, and she very soon remains a widow.
