So, it’s the middle of the year and I’m 9 books ahead of my reading challenge, good for me! So far it was a good reading year for me. Got to read some very good books. I hope it keeps that way, no disappointments.

Best book you’ve read so far in 2018.

I still have goosebumps when I’m thinking about this book.

Best sequel you’ve read so far in 2018.

New release you haven’t read yet, but want to.

Most anticipated release for the second half of the year.

Biggest disappointment.

A very cheesy romance hiding behind the historical-fiction facade.

Biggest surprise.

The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins didn’t expect to love this book so much, but I did and I have to re-read it again as soon as possible!

Favorite new author. (Debut or new to you)

Leigh Bardugo. Just read these books this year and I’m in loooove!

Newest fictional crush.

Robert Prewitt from Calling Me Home by Julie Kibler.

Newest favorite character.

Sidney, Dawsey, Elizabeth, Isola, and Juliet from The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. They are so adorable and hilarious!

Book that made you cry.

Book that made you happy.

Favorite book to film adaptation you saw this year.

I loved how the characters were portrayed, however, the book is million times better.

Most beautiful book you’ve bought so far this year.

I’m told My Lady Jane is such a fun book, I should give that book a shot someday. I also love that Leigh Bardugo made it to your new favourite author list. I adore her books.
